Introduction to Vascular Surgery Course, 28th November 2018 at VSASM, Glasgow


The course consists of short talks about a career in Vascular Surgery and a chance to see and practise some hands-on Vascular surgical skills with current trainees using jigs and simulators. The delegates will rotate around the following surgical skills stations:

1:         Endovascular surgery basics

2:         Arterial patch repair and Arteriotomy

3:         Embolectomy and Closure

Numbers for this workshop are limited and pre-registration is required. The workshop is aimed at Medical Students, Foundation Doctors and Core Trainees who are interested in exploring Vascular Surgery as a potential career.
