The Rouleaux Club National Essay Competition for 2023 is now open! 

**NEW THIS YEAR** The winner of each category will have their essay published in the Journal of Vascular Societies Great Britain and Ireland.

This is an opportunity for aspiring vascular surgeons to showcase their research skills and explore current issues affecting the specialty. The competition is open to medical students and pre-registrar junior doctors.

Pick from one of the following titles

1. The future of Vascular Surgery: How would you attract the best future Vascular Surgeons and ensure their fulfilment and wellbeing throughout training?

2. Discuss the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving current management of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA).

3. Is surgical bypass underutilised for patients requiring lower limb revascularisation

Top-scoring candidates will also receive free entry to our Introduction to Vascular Surgery course held at the Vascular Societies’ Annual Scientific Meeting.
