The course is being held on Wednesday, 25th November 2026, 0800-1300hrs, at the ACC Liverpool, as part of the Vascular Societies’ Annual Scientific Meeting. It is run by vascular trainees from the Rouleaux Club and is open to medical students through to pre-registrar doctors.
Objectives:
- Learn about vascular surgery as a speciality
- Meet and network with current vascular surgery registrars and Rouleaux Club committee members
- Learn basic skills in vascular suturing
- Learn how to suture a patch and anastomose two vessels
- Get advice on building your portfolio for a career in vascular surgery, and more!
Places are reserved with a deposit (£11.50 for medical students, £23.00 for pre-registrar doctors). You get it back when you attend, but it isn’t refunded if you don’t.
