A one-day course for medical students, foundation doctors and core surgical trainees considering a career in Vascular Surgery

Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 April 2020 London Olympia

The Vascular Society of Great Britain & Ireland and the Rouleaux Club are excited to be running a combined initiative with the CX Symposium. Due to last year’s success we will be running a Introduction to Vascular Surgery course for medical students, foundation doctors and core surgical trainees.

Attendees will be offered hands-on training in vascular anastomosis vascular ultrasound and cannulation, as well as demonstrations of endovascular techniques. They will meet trainees and consultants with a passion for vascular surgery. They will also be given advice on how to develop their portfolio and how to apply for training in vascular surgery.

Attendees will get free entry to the CX Symposium (21 – 24 April 2020). The Introduction to Vascular Surgery course is a one-day programme, taking place on both Wednesday 22 April and Thursday 23 April.

Any trainee wishing to sign up for this exciting opportunity please visit the CX website: https://www.cxsymposium.com/intro-to-vascular-surgery-2020/

Places are limited and applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Attendees will be asked for a deposit of £10 and proof of status to secure their place. We also ask that applicants choose a preferred day (Wednesday or Thursday) in advance.

All trainees attending the Introduction days will have the opportunity to write a report of their experience. The best report will be published in Vascular News.
